Regulations
The games shall be held in accordance with the new FIDE Laws of Chess, which are about to come into effect on July 1, 2009.
Participation
Ten players, personally invited by the Organizing Committee, will participate in 9 rounds, Round-Robin System.
- GM - Players with ELO Rating over 2400
- IM - Players with ELO Rating over 2300
The inclusion of players with lower ELO will be considered individually.
Time Limit
90 min for 40 moves + 30 min, with 30 sec cumulative increment for each move starting from the first move.
Arbiters
The Chief Arbiter will be IA Abraham Dorner. The Organizing Committee shall appoint as many Deputy and Assistant arbiters as necessary. A An appeal against the decision of the Chief Arbiter must be submitted in writing to the Chief Arbiter, within one hour of the original decision. The appeal shall be accompanied by a fee to be determined by the Organizing Committee, which shall be returned if the appeal is successful.

Tie-Break System to determine medal winners
1. Sonnenborn-Berger, 2. Blitz Games, Double-Round Blitz Games between the players involved.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes as deemed necessary.
